We met this family in Honolulu where the city sets up great Christmas decorations. One of our favorites is the Shaka Santa dipping his feet into the water with his shirt open. To me, no Santa is more jolly than this Shaka Santa.
This was a fun and laid back family with a little boy that was more than ready to get his picture taken! He was a blast to work with. The girls had their own agenda to keep and kept us on our toes during the session but were so cute even when they weren’t into taking photos. To their credit, there was a lot going on around them and the train and merry-go-round are admittedly much more exciting than our antics in trying to gain their attention. Which led us to finish off the session by shooting candid shots which turned out to be a great way to end and got some great photos.
