I was at my cousin Christiaan’s house the other day for dinner teaching his wife how to use her camera. Christiaan made a joke about trying to get the camera to focus on two things at the same time. I thought about that a bit and decided to give it a shot. So here’s my attempt at getting a photo where the camera is focused on two things at once. Although this is an interesting concept, I don’t think it’s a very good practice in professional work as every image should have one subject or idea to focus on. Adding more also adds to the distraction. But it was interesting to try out. I actually liked the second photo more personally.
